2006 is over in a freaking day! I have a few ideas on how to put the '06 to rest here on thePS, but I'm not sure if I'll do most of them. I know one is definitely happening. It's on the
aesthetic level. One of the better ones so far. I'm happy with it anyways. You'll see it on the first of 2007, sucka. But, let's just say I changed games...
Let's see... Christmas was good. I hope yers was too. I got a few really nifty toys and movies and stuff. Plus it really was one of the best Christmasses I've had in a while. I'm not exactly sure
why that was the case. However, it seems that most other people I've been talking to have had similar awesome Christmasses. Maybe it was just a good year for Christmasses. Christmas is like wine, I
guess. Not so much in terms of age, just the year it is from. I have no idea what I'm talking about anymore. Share yer Christmas fun on the forum though. It creates further fun!

Well folks, it's Christmas Eve, so that means Santa Claus is soon comin' to town. I hope everyone has a good one!
Merry Christmas!

One of the best parts of not having to work during my Christmas vacation is that I get to watch pretty much any Christmas specials I want. Last year I watched "Blackadder" and
It's a Wonderful Life. Granted I quite enjoy those, but I enjoy other ones as well. This year, so far, I've watched: Mickey's Christmas Carol, Blackadder's Christmas Carol,
How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The Muppet Family Christmas, the end of the Muppet Christmas Carol (I was sad to realize
I missed most of it), The Polar Express, Christmas Vacation, and Small One (the backstory of Joseph and Mary's donkey). That's just so far. I still hope to catch at least one more version of A
Christmas Carol, and of course I'll be watching It's a Wonderful Life sometime before Christmas Eve.
Good times all around this holiday season!

This year my mom was able to find some candy-cane ice cream (there was a major shortage last year, and none could be found by anyone I know... except Brent's aunt apparently).
Yet another reason why Christmas this year is so much better than last year. Go Christmas!!

Holy first-major-snowfall-of-the-year Batman! And's it not even January! Yup, the PROPER snow gods have returned to CB after their 6 or 7 year vacation and brought us
all a present. Apparently it's gonna be gone by Thursday (temp going up AND rain) but I don't mind. I like snow, and it was always sad to expect no snow for Christmas.
Hopefully this means that won't be a problem this year.

Well, November certainly crapped out on us, now didn't it? Oh well!
It's now December, which means, it's now Christmastime! I fully enjoy Christmastime as quite possibly my favorite time of the year. It's pretty delightful, and so far
it's looking to be a pretty fun time. I was already in the local Christmas parade, and I've been Jacob Marley in a run of "A Christmas Carol" all week (which has led to
a pretty shot-up voice in the end, but that's okay - it's Christmastime!) So yeah - lots of fun to be had. I even got all of my immediate family Christmas shopping done
today! I'm on fire! I don't even mind that, for the most part, it's been incredibly tiring as it really has been loads of fun. I think that'll be my personal Christmastime
theme for this year: loads of fun. Feel like joining me? It doesn't HAVE to be personal!

Well, it's been a while since my last post (but hey - there were quite a few then, so it evens out, yes?). The reason being, I am grossly busy. Plays, papers, group-
projects, work, etc, etc. However, at least half of my busy stuff is fun, so I don't mind. It's just lots of stuff. But tomorrow I have a day with no obligations!
I haven't had one of those in a while - especially one where I can sleep in. Woo!
But, speaking of busy things, my schooling is almost done for this semester, which means a long Christmas vacation, and then it's straight into my practicum. Should
be good times. And "A Christmas Carol" is soon, which will be followed by some Improv U Christmas shows (probably at least 3... wicked). The fact that I am not working
at the mall again this Christmas is already making it all the more pleasant.
If it seems like I'm bragging... deal with it. Chump.

Oh my god! It's Hallo-frickin'-ween! My other favorite time of the year! There might be some rain tonight, but hopefully not too much to ruin trick-or-treating.
But, if yer not the trick-or-treating type, just sit back, give out the candy, watch some scary movies (preferably of the b-variety), and cap the whole thing off
with some "Thriller." If you don't HAVE "Thriller," turn on Much Music at some point... if they have sense they'll be playing it a few times today (assuming they
do still play music videos... or short movies about Michael Jackson). They might show "Ghosts" too (Jackson's supposed sequel to the amazingness that is "Thriller").
It doesn't quite compete. Either way...
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, FREAKERS!!

ThePS - Now with googly-eyes!
I watched "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" today, and it still holds up. Somehow it has not gotten less retarded, despite all the shitty movies I have watched
over the years since I watched it originally. For once the "Scream" channel actually pulled through with some awesomeness. Good work "Scream." Give me a few
more gems like that before Halloween and I think we can be friends.

I don't usually go for the store bought, cheesy Halloween decorations when it comes to decorating my house. I used to make my own (dead bodies, graves,
body parts, ghosts, etc), but in the past few years I kinda fell out of that as my house in the HC just isn't as spooky as the one in Westmount was. Anywho,
the other day at Wal-Mart I saw something really cool that got me back in the mood to decorate my house... with cheesy store-bought crap no less! Except,
this thing wasn't crap. This thing was brilliant. This was the official "Scary Flying Ghost" a product that boasts that it "actually flies." It's actually
a simple yet brilliant design: a wire conencts from 2 poles (or trees, or whatever) and the ghost "flies" on that. He's on hius own wire which is suspended
on a little motor on the wire. Now, the brilliant thing here lies in two little plastic thingies. Instead of having the ghost simply slam into the 2 poles/trees/
whatever, there's 2 little plastic stoppers, that are adjustable, along the wire. So now the ghost, while flying in a simple straight line, looks more graceful
than non-official scary flying ghosts. PLUS it's 3 feet tall AND makes scary ghost noises. I had to get this thing!
So, tonight we went to Wal-Mart to that very thing (actually, mom had to buy a conversion box and some bacon) but the ghost was my goal. But they were all out!
There were like 40 of the damn things when I was there a week ago! Now - zero! What the hell?! My ambition is crumbled. However, that's just 1 Wal-Mart. And
it wasn't even the new super-jumbo-Wal-Mart. They've probably got a whole section for the damn things. And, even if my search is futile, I know there's at least
40 of the official Scary Flying Ghosts that will be flying around out there, somewhere, on Halloween. If I can't find my own, my goal is to find one of them. This
was a long, retarded post. Spooky-retarded.

We're almost halfway to Halloween! Woo! There's already an article and now a new quiz up on the page (look over at the updates thing over there -->)
and there's a few more things in the works. It sucks that I didn't start the quiz earlier, as it would have been good to have something up for Friday
the 13th, but oh well. I recommend you take the quiz anyways - it's both fun AND spook-tastic! I'm actually getting pretty excited about Halloween
and the upcoming Improv U Spooktacular that goes along with it, which makes sense. I usually do. That's all for now. Later folks!
October 1, 2006:
James F.W.
Oh wow, it's already October! You may have noticed that that the Halloweening of thePS has already begun. The background ghost is a creation
of mine. I'm an artist. He's like usual ghosts, only he's orange, and he has a pupil. Pretty creative, huh?
So, my Halloween costume search is actually almost done. I need only one piece now. I still have to alter another piece, but that's about it.
I'm totally on my game this year. Last year (while being a wicked costume idea between myself, Dave and Brent) came a little close to the wire
before it was done, but this one - this one I have a lot more confidence in. What is it? Oh, you'll see. And you'll see SPOOKY! Yes, that's right...
I'M BRINGING SPOOKY BACK!!!

I have a cold that I actually believe is some kind of plague. It's not treating me very well, but seems to be on the decline in some ways.
Hooray for dying less.
In other news, all funs stuffs are up and running again. The radio station seems to be going pretty smoothly so far - I even made some little
make-over changes on the Caper Radio website that I'm actually kinda proud of (as you may be able to tell
from this place, I'm not great with web-design). Tomorrow marks the return of my beloved playwriting class (now classES as there's a new group
now too!) which should be fun. There's actually lots of other stuff, but head-snot and pain are causing me to forget about them at the moment.
I'll make a better post when I'm even less-sick!

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure there's a bat living in my house somewhere. Or possibly a nocturnal, very quiet bird/flying squirrel.
This is, however, just a theory. That is all.
September 2, 2006:
James F.W.
Started writing a new play yesterday. It's different than my usual stuff. Well, I shouldn't say that it's entirely different. So far it's
just a series of monologues and brief dialogues (all spawning from stories about one guy I made up), some of which are my style, some of which
are not. Perhaps if I finish it, I'll get someone else to direct it in the one-act festival. There's a few plys that I didn't write that I'd
like to put on, so maybe I'll give that a try!
It's September now (as you can see by the date, and/or just from knowing the time) and busy thinsg are starting to get underway again. Improv U
is undergoing some major changes (auditions and whatnot), CAPR is gonna be up and running within the next couple of weeks (Sept. 11 will be our
first broadcasting day, in case yer wondering), plays are starting (I'm auditioning for "A Christmas Carol" in a few hours actually), school starts
back up on this coming Wednesday, etc. Plus, just for the hell of it, I'm adding other crap to my schedule! Much like that new play, I'm thinking
about starting a new webcomic. One that, unlike the Pie Show, will have regular characters and a plot! One that uses stuff I know about (which
isn't a whole lot, but with the idea I have, I have loads of knowledge, but that'll be developing in a bit so you'll see it later). So yeah... busy,
busy month ahead of me. Hope to see ya there!

The picnic was yesterday. Let's just say it could have gone better. But, for what it ended up being, it was really fun. I won't give away
too many of the details here, as there'll be an article written about it soonly, but let's just say WAY too much pudding was eaten. There'll
be more on that later.

So we're back from Halifax (which you may already knwo if you've seen us, or if you've been keeping up with the updates over there -->
and fun times were had by all. But the fun for August isn't over yet! Oh lord no! There's still thePS 6th anniversary celebration!
It looks like we're going to be having the company picnic again (as it's always fun), but with soem additions. Camping has been mentioned,
however I know little on the subject, so that may be up to others to plan. Another suggestion was a BBQ, or at least going out to eat.
Food is always good. So yeah - while the details are as of yet unconfirmed, the dates are more-or-less set. The last weekend in August will
be a celebration of Pudding proportions! So, keep yer schedule at least somewhat cleared, and keep checking here/the forum for details to
develop. Ciao!

Today was "Miracle Treat Day" at Dairy Queen. For those who don't know, this means that whenever you buy a blizzard, the money goes
to the IWK and saves the lives of sick kids with cancer, and probably other diseases too. Dave and Brent have mande it a tradition
to go to DQ on these days and eat a gross amount of blizzards to single-handedly save these kids. This year I (as well as a few others)
were invited to join in. We ate a lot of ice cream.
Brent and Dave (having experience on their side) walked away (sort of) pushing back 4 blizzards. I only had 3.5, which puts me on equal
footing with the Bullet. Eew. But, it was fun/gross/sexy, and I think we cured cancer. Good for us.
PS -Check out the fancy new fashionable PS! Blue is the new wicked.

Woo! I'm finally on summer vacation! Woo! No more school for just under a month! Woo! Getting to sleep in a stuff! Woo! Oh,
but I have to work at my dad's office all this week. Woo. And after that, everyone else is still working. Woo? Man, I need
to go back to grade 5. Grade 5 summers kick ass.
However, NOFX is in 6 days. I think this summer will be able to compete.

So we had the dress rehersal for the big ol' variety show "Improv U: Now With 25% Less Fat" tonight, and it actually went
really well. It was actually one of the better dress rehersals I've been privy too. Most of this past year can boast
a similar record. But anyways, it was a hell of a lot better than last year's. Hopefully that'll mean the show will go
well. We've put a lot into it for it not to, plus we're all really wicked and kick-ass at what we do.
You should all coem to this thing! It's thsi Saturday (tomorrow!) at 7pm at the Boardmore. Fun times for only $5! You'd
have to be actually retarded to skip on a deal like that! Are you actually retarded? If you are, I'm sorry. You can come
to the show too.

The only good thing about summer is when popsicles go on sale. It's even better when ice-cream-sandwiches, fudgicles AND popsicles
go on sale. That's the case this week. As a result, I'd say it's a pretty good week. This is a way dumber post
than the last one. I suppose that's a good thing. I'm gonna have a popsicle.

This, if you were unaware, is my cat, Cuddles.

However, that is simply not enough. He was, by far, the best cat who ever was. On top of that,
was my best friend for the past 19 years. He really lived through a lot, and had a pretty amazing
life. Even when he got sick, he really didn’t let it get to him and kept being himself. If you were
unaware of who that was, and you were unfortunate to have not known Cuds, then I feel sorry
for you. He was really a great cat and a great friend. One of the best people I’ve ever met. As
sad as I am that he’s not here anymore, I’m glad he’s not sick anymore either.
I miss you Cuddles. I love you.

Some of you may have heard recently about my soon-to-be ground-breaking experiment known as the "Count Chocula Challenge." Modelled off the Special K challenge,
only way cooler, it is actually very simple. A bowl of Chocula for breakfast, another for lunch, and then, because they're kinda too high in everything to warrant
a full supper, another bowl for supper! 3 bowls a day - nothing but the Count! If you want a snack, have a handful of Chocolatey goodness as only the Count can give you.
This would last for a full week, or until I died. Surely, this would be my best idea ever.
That is... until reality hit. I went to Walmart last week looking for some Count Chocula, but they didn't have any. We took this as a sign that Walmart didn't care about
the good Count, but whatever. Not the end of the world. I could try somewhere else. But... then I tried somewhere else. Sobeys' cereal aisle. No Count Chocula. My worst
fear may possibly be reality - Count Chocula may have found the same fate as Boo-Berry and Frankenberry and Fruity Mummy. Those were all good ones, but the Count -
the leader of them all - he was great. Amazing even. I just hope they were simply out of the cereal due to its extreme popularity, and not... not that he's been abandoned.
I will keep you posted. Feel free to share yer chocolatey memories on the forum. Together, we can pull through the pain.

So I done one term of my many-termed BEd. It wasn't that hard actually. It was work - don't get me wrong there. There was plenty
of work to do, just that work wasn't as hard as many around me claimed. Pretty easy, for the most part. I'm assuming that was just
because it was the first term. It'll probably get a bit harder now. Again, I'm onyl assuming though. I dunno.
Also, we began the new episode of my Imperial Regime Star Wars game last night. I forgot the reason I like that game so much. There's
like 100s of NPCs (non-player-characters for those not in the know) that I can play; most of them are fairly normal, as nothing strikes me
as to why they shouldn't be. But, most of the established characters, I completely change to the point of making them retarded. For example:
Grand Moff Tarkin in my game = drunken old man. Xixor = thug-lovin'. Even Vader! Vader = immature bully. It's fun. Hopefully this game will
last as long as the last episode (which went for quite a few months... I don't remember exactly how many. Anybody know that one?

Ah heavy-garbage-day. It's not even dark yet, and a truck just drove off with our old shower doors (which I guess is reasonable - they weren't in terrible
condition, just the wheel thingy was broken), but they also took a 2 foot pipe with a brass joint rusted onto it. It was also prety much filled solid with plaster
and regular sink-gunk. Some people.
So Donna - if yer reading this - find out where Dougie is, and knwo that yer tale is true! Seriously! It's not even friggin' dark yet!

Today I was convocated with my Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and History. For some odd reason, this mattered to me. Two months ago, I
really wouldn't have cared. I actually had a degree from the year before, but skipped the ceremony because I just didn't care. This year, however, I
actually was excited/a bit nervous for the event. My guess is that, unlike the past few years of my education, I genuinely care about the schooling I
am currently partaking in. My BA was done well, and I put effort into it, on the basis that I knew I needed to do good, it wasn't THAT hard, and for the
most part my courses were interesting. Now, however, I find that I really care about my education. It's a personal thing, and I guess it spread into all
things school related, hence my interest in attending this thing. It wasn't even that bad. Not nearly as long/warm as my high school graduation. Also,
there were cookies at this thing. And bagpipers. I'll probably end up doing an article on this (As I brought the camera, and took pics) once I figure out
an angle for one. Go knowledge!

Well, today is my first day of classes for the BEd, and it's an all day kinda thing. I've been here since 8:30am because that's when I could
get a ride, and my classes are over at 9 tonight. Now, that's not just a couple of classes with huge breaks, nor is it 4 or 5 classes. It's 2 classes.
One is 2.5 hours, the other is 5 hours. I really have no idea what to expect with these classes.
Yesterday was an orientation day, which only really lasted til about 11:30, but still, it answered a few of the remaining questions I had, except what
the actual classes would be like. I can't imagine that they will be too hard, as they are only intro/core courses, but it'll be a lot of work, as
it's a semester's worth of class in 5 weeks. Plus there's a few distance courses done online, which I have never had to do. I've looked at one of the
classes set up online and it doesn't seem too bad - again, just a lot of work. But, this is what I want to do with my life, so I must endure. I'm sure it won't be too bad. Afterall,
I get a 4 day weekend every week. Huzzah! Perhaps I'll update later to let ya know how it all went.
**EDIT: Well, I got through it all - a bit early too. Seems like it won't be too big a deal, and I'll be on my way teaching in no time. Huzzah and the likes.

I noticed when I went to see Silent Hill the other day that there has been a major shift in the personification of fear in movies.
No longer is it knife-wielding maniacs - it is now innocent-looking little girls. There's the girl from the Sixth Sense, the Ring,
and now Silent Hill. There's a new game called "Fear" coming out and the only ads I've seen for it are a little girl looking all-evil-like.
I suppose it's not that new an idea what with the Exorcist and whatnot, it just seems to be a very common image in things of horror now.
Maybe this has been around all along, but I was too busy watching the knife-wielding maniac, but I dunno. Just thought I'd mention it.
That is all.

Holy crap, we have a sun again! Yesterday was the best attempt in a few weeks, in that it wasn't dark all day, but today there is actual sunshine! Everywhere! Wow!
In other news - Stargirl (the play adapted by Erin and myself from a very good book) is happening today at 2 at the Boardmore. Come on out and live the theatre experience!
We actually found the magic of the theatre yesterday. Turns out it wasn't imagination or suspension of disbelief afterall. It's actually a make-up brush that, when used,
shoots sparkles on whatever it touches. Magic!
PS - My new favorite song is "Streamline" by Newton. Yes, it's the song from that Pepsi ad. I don't like Pepsi, Parker Posey is okay, and I hate Jimmy Fallon, but I love them
all due to association with this song. The only problem is, the ad's only like 15 seconds long. That's just not enough of that song. So I downloaded it, and I can now be
happy with my life. Doo do do do do do do do do do do do do.

On this day, Easter Friday, I just watched a magnificent film - a film which filled me with hope. A simple story of a man who, for the greater good, sacrificed himself. His suffering
was great, and resulted in his own death. Soon, he will rise again, to the benefit of all mankind. That movie can be viewed at 12:30 today. It's called "The Search for Spock," and I
suggest you view it. It's not as good as "Wrath of Khan" but it brings Spock back, which is always nice. Wraps up the story and such.
I really hope they played the Star Trek movies today purely for the parallels.
Happy Easter everyone. Live long and prosper.

I have thought of an interesting point concerning literature and its importance in the world. In the world, some of the most influential people in at leats 3 separate fields
may never have actually existed outside of literature. These people being: Socrates (philosophy), Jesus (religion), and King Arthur (history). There is no proof any of these
people actually existed outside of the literature that contains their story. Literature, therefore, should be placed on the highest echelon of human existence.
Remember this when one day people in 1000 years or so are trying to figure out why people are no longer as magic was they were in 2000. And - where exactly is the grave of
Harry Potter?

Today is the big day - 'My Fourth Play' opens and closes all in one night. We had the dress rehersal yesterday, and it went pretty well. Actually, the first run left
something to be desired, but then we all had cake and ran it again, and it was the best so far. I expect nothing but the best for tonight, as you should too! It's not
really that thsi play has been stressful - quite the opposite actually - it'll just be nice to have one less thing to have to worry about. I may even sit in the audience
and watch this one. Who knows?
If all that didn't make you wanna run out to see this thing, maybe this will help:
Tonight, 7pm at the Boardmore Playhouse.

Remember 'Sam and Max, Freelance Police!!!'? I have recently downloaded a few episodes from the online realm and I must say I enjoy them now even more than
when they were originally on. It comes from that same line of shows that were WAY ahead of their time. Shows like Earthworm Jim and the Tick - shows that were
made for children, but had humour WAY to adult to be enjoyed by the average 8 year old. From the episodes I've watched in the past few days, I can easily say that
I've never seen a Saturday morning cartoon with as many jokes about asses adn killing people. And I've enjoyed each and every one of them. Thank you Sam and Max.

I'm using an iMac to make this post. I feel so... ya know... *flicks wrist*
So, we've been doing rehersals for my new one-act for the one-act play festival, and I'm actually really impressed with how it's going, for a few reasons.
One reason being I'm using all actors I've never directed before and it's going really, really well. They know all their lines and crap, adn they work
quite well together. Also the rehersal process is quite fun. It's a shorter play so we're able to run the whole thing, goof off during most of it, and then
go over trouble parts, and then goof off more. I think if there's no goofing off in this process it takes most of the fun out of it. I can worry about things
with it later, but as of now I don't think any worries will present themselves. Except one, but I mean to fix that within the next few days. So yeah, come
on out at see it, March 21. It'll be a blast, wha?

As of late I've become obsessed with internet comics (which I guess would explain why I finally put up the Pie Show comics after about a year of saying
I was gonna do so). Ctr+Alt+Del has become a favorite as well as VG Cats which I managed to read the whole series of both (wow... that has
to be incorrect sentence structure, I just know it) in a little less than a week (it's
amazing what you can put off doing when reading these things when yer purposely trying to put off stuff).
This "reading week/spring-break" I actually tried quite hard to have a "break." Typically on these things I work a lot on papers, and have a lot of meetings and whatnot
that kinda cancel out more fun plans that others have/want me to partake in. That usually sucks. So, this year - while I DID work on paper stuff, I did really very
little, and while I did have meetings (rehersals and whatnot) I actually attended very little. I've been sleeping in/playing video games, watching movies - wasting time.
It's been great. However, one thing that can totally kill the fun: chapped lips. My god I wish I couldn't feel my face. How I envy you, babies born with that
disability.

So. For a few years, everyone who frequents thePS has referred to it as my 'blog.' I fought this title greatly, and denied it. However, I
have now come to accept this as being probably true. It's like a blog, only way more kickass cuz it has articles and pirate-logos. So, you'll
notice that the previously almost-useless window directly right of this post has now become the 'updates' window, letting you know when new articles/whatevers
come up. This window will be used for posting whatever I feel like posting. Yes, this main window is now the blog. This means for most of you, resume
calling this main window 'the blog part.'

Wow, there's a whole new section up over there to the left of this! You know, in that Mario 3 menu! It's comics! Yup. So far there's
every Pie Show I've done so far, and I imagine the rest will go up as their made. Hopefully other stuff will end up there too as I know there's
some other admins that also have comics. Hilarity will surely ensue.

Well, I've been busy all this month, which might explain the lack of posts. Probably not though. However, if yer interested in seeing what was
eating up so much of my time, you may want to read this article to get the low-down. The down-low
as it were. Anyways, it's got politics and drama and intrigue and pickles. Check it out!

After some pointless stupidity, it seems as though the forum is back up in running order. How long it will last this time, I do not know. That
last sentence was written as if I was Lt. Cmd. Data. Remember when I made that Data Splash a few years ago? Good times. Anyways, the forum is
back up, but all content made after Dec. 26, 2005 has been lost forever. This means it's up to you to replace the missing childish squabble and talk
of how your Christmas/New Years went. Get to it.
January 24, 2006:
James F.W.
Wow, it's been a long time since I posted with anything of significance. And that may well be a thing that continues fi yer not the type that
enjoys articles about reconstructing old toys. The reason I mention that is that the latest article to go up is a little something I like to
call The Starscream Diaries. Join me in the search.
January 6, 2006:
James F.W.
Holy god, it's another new year. I suppose we all saw that coming. As you can see our Christmas decorations have come down, but the layout
of the page has changed. Pretty, wha? I mean, 2 new window things over there. And who doesn't like Mario Bros. 3? Bastards, that's who.
I've got a few other ideas to make some slight changes to the new layout soonly (ie - as soon as I figure out how to do them). Hopefully it'll
all work itself out. La la la la.
December 24, 2005:

Merry Christmas everyone!
December 18, 2005:

Today the fire truck Santa went by. It prompted me to write this rant about it. Yeah, I'm kinda stretching for
stuff to write about, but hey - I've never seen an article on that subject, so there ya go. Christmas is saved.

Another holiday tradition has returned to thePS. Yes, it's the 2005 version of the Christmas Village. You know,
the one that lives in my basement. I have a whole civilization under my roof... and then under a second roof which is the floor from upstairs. That's how
basements work.
December 7, 2005:

C-Movie-Palooza?! What the hell is C-Movie-Palooza? The only way to find out is to have a merry Christmas
and read the damn thing! Jingle jingle jingle.
December 1, 2005:
James F.W.
In the words of one Clayton D'Orsay - it's only the first day of the frigging month! Yes it is! But that didn't stop me from totally Christmasing
up thePS. It's also the official debut of our new layout! So, while the Xmas stuff won't last forever, the layout will! Well, probably not, but
for a while anyways. So yeah - more wicked Christmas stuff later. This is just the first day afterall. I waited that long...
November 19, 2005:
James F.W.
This chunk of time between Halloween and Christmas is always so boring. It's not overly good articlewise either. Somehow Rememberance Day
just doesn't make me wanna write. Hopefully there will at least be SOMETHING before the Christmas explosion happens. I dunno if that's gonna
be the case, but whatever. Happy November, I guess.
November 8, 2005:
James F.W.
We've been playing with the look of the page, as you may or may not already know. If you wanna take a sneak-peak of the
new digs, check it out right HERE. There's a thread about it on the forum if ya have any
suggestions for us on how to make it suck less. Remember - only you can help you. And us.

Halloweek is sadly over. But, not just over like that. Over... with a BANG! Yes, the grand-daddy of all Halloween
articles! Yes, it's time for B-MOVIE-PALOOZA V! Man, it's amazing the amount
of pure crap we'll watch!
October 29, 2005:
James F.W.
The greatest sequel ever! Give it a read, and know the further story! If you don't, you'll be
forever in the dark around the water-cooler. You don't want that!
October 26, 2005:
James F.W.
Halloween is only a few days away, and so we bring you another of our wonderfully frightening Halloweeny articles. This one is about the
best Halloween costumes at CBU this year. Give it a read - you full well might have the same costume yerself! Wee! It's totally scare-ific!
October 20, 2005:

Yet another fabulous Halloween article for y'all to hear! This one is a bit of a PSA from our favorite vampire duck, Count Duckula.
I did the intro for it, but he did the rest. He's quite the typer.

Because it's a pretty neat idea (stolen from various other sites - most notably X-E) here is a compiled list of every Halloween/Spooky-related
article thePuddingStore has ever been privy too. The past comes alive with all this crap. Alive... like Vampires, in that they're not really
alive, but could still kill you.

As the month gets spookier, so do the articles on the ol' PS. This time around it's the top 10 cartoons with ghosts/monsters.
How did yer favorite fare? I dunno, as I dunno what yer favorite was. if it was "Creepy Crawlers" don't bother. Same goes with "Archie's Weird Mysteries," but then
that was no one's favorite. If it was, I apologize. Really, I am sorry for you. Booo!
October 10, 2005:
James F.W.
The first Halloween article of the season is finally up! I feel like it's late to have one up, but it's only the 10th,
so hopefully it'll get made up for in the coming weeks up to the big spooky day. Anyways, I think this one was worth the
wait. Science and analysis take over this one as me and Brent review Halloween candies!
October 5, 2005:
James F.W.
Dude! It's October! My favorite time of the year! In case you suck, I'll inform you as to why: It's Halloween! No, it's
not just one day. It's October. So yeah - new spooky-look. Get... spooked! BoooOOOooooo! Etc. More later. More to scare you that is!

It's been a wicked week in terms of the getting of awesome things. I got an original 1977 copy of the SW soundtrack today, as well as
my 2nd favorite toy of all time, Steel Starscream. Clayton got some wicked SW Unleashed figures. Erin got Batman: TAS on DVD. And Christian
got a new toy himself. Read all about it in this lovely pictorial. You'll be glad you did.

There's a new article on the block, gang. This one commemorates the wonderous thing that was
thePuddingStore 5th Anniversary Company picnic! A lot of our articles of late have been of the adventure variety. Don't worry
though - I've got a few regular stupid ones up my sleeve, just festering up there. Like Uncle Fester! Only, there's no articles
on Uncle Fester. Sorry to get yer hopes up.

Holy god, wha? The 3rd part of the Halifax adventure is finally up!
The suspense is finally over, and victory has been whatevered. Yes, that counts as a real word. My god August has become
awfully busy.
August 10, 2005:
James F.W.
The second day of the Halifax adventure is up and ready for yer viewing pleasure. Maybe
all the questions you had at the end of Day 1 will be answered. But probably not. Yee-hah.
August 8, 2005:
James F.W.
Jesus, the adventures just keep coming of late! This is truly THE summer of great adventures. with that in mind,
take a look at THIS! Our greatest yet, this is but part 1 of an epic trilogy
of... adventure...ness. Dare you click that "THIS!" and see what craziness we began in Halifax? Did we cause that
major killing-spree, or did we just watch? Find out!
July 20, 2005:

So I pretty much spent the entire night doing this. Le sigh! All so you could find the answer to the question, Which Pudding Flavor Are You?
July 16, 2005:
James F.W.
So, what did you do this week? I'm willing to bet that it wasn't as much fun as what we did this week! I even
chronicled it in this adventuresome article!. See if you can handle the
excitement by giving it a read! Feel the thunder!

Yeah, I made a new banner, and since I don't much care for the frame around it, I've decided to leave it up to you - the good people who frequent thePS to make a new banner for us! Wow!
Previous successful baners have included:
- Star Wars
- crappy graphics
- nintendo
- b-movies
- things that are yellow
- pirates
- blocky fonts
Feel free to do whatever you want with it though, as it's a contest in creativity. However, the banner MUST include the words "the pudding store" somewhere. The size should be 650-700 wide, but no more than 100 tall. Also, it would be good if they had a brown frame around them, but that's up to you, I suppose.
Post yer entries on the forum, or email them to me. And try as much as you want! The prize is the honour of having yer banner posted for all to see for a couple of months, pride, and accelaides. Woo.

For those of you who sadly missed out on the joy of opening night of Episode III, fear not!
Reading this very article will make it just like
you were there with us, nerding it up, old-school. Boy-eeez. What?
May 14, 2005:

Star Wars article 2 is complete. This one is a review
of the final season of the Clone Wars cartoons. Awesome, awesome cartoons... or were they? Read
the review to find out! Suckers!
May 12, 2005:

As Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is less than a week away (I'm all psyched and
whatnot - I know you are too), I'm gonna try to make a few SW-related articles to fill the time.
Plus, I noticed our quota is surprisingly low. So, to kick things off, here's a look at some
games. STAR WARS GAMES! Like I said... Star Wars.
2 May, 2005:

So yeah, I may as well jump on this thesis bandwagon. My thesis, on ground beetle diversity, probably has less wide ranging appeal than James', but there it is.
April 20, 2005:
James F.W.
And it's all done! The whole thesis is up! go give 'er
a read, and any comments you would like to maek would be rather rad, as I haven't heard any
on these revised chapters. They've all been passed in and whatnot, so nothing can be done about
really "fixing" them, but comments would still be rad. Either way, read it if you've got a
spare hour or 2. It's called culture... ya know... kinda... the serious literary comicbook
kind. Yes.
April 19, 2005:
James F.W.
Well, I'm officially all done schooling for another year! And, as a way to celebrate,
here's my thesis on Batman, Doctor Doom and Spawn! Well, the first 2 chapters of it. It'll edit and post the other 3 later
(possibly today, possibly not. Only time will tell...). Enjoy!
April 13, 2005:
James F.W.
It has been WAY too long since anything of significance was put up on this thingy. When exams are done (ie, tomorrow)
things will hopefully pick up. But, until then, I decided to put up a classic long lost
interview that I almost forgot about. But yeah, there it is. Enjoy!
April 3, 2005:
James F.W.
If you look over at the Cosby-menu over there, you'll notice that our guestbook has been replaced
with a forum. This idea has been suggested by many, so it seemed like a good idea. So yeah, enjoy
the crap out of it. Wee!
March 27, 2005:

Well, the big annual Giant-Rabbit Day egg hunt was today! Sadly Matty couldn't be involved
this year, as he is in a suckier province. And, there'll be no pictorial adventure, as my camera
was left at the university over the weekend. However, I can tell you the results! The big
winner this year was...
Elania D'Orsay?!
What the hell?! Yup, Elania and the whole D'Orsay clan (well, the good part) was over for this
year's hunt, and Elania became the new Mat (in that my mom helped her find eggs), 'cept she did way
better than Mat... just to show the incompetence of him, I guess. 2nd place went to me with 38 eggs.
Erin came in 3rd with 33, adn Amy got 11 for 4th. Clayton, despite being awesome, got no eggs, and
thus came in Suckth place. Oh, snap. Happy Giant-Rabbit Day folkers.

At the request of several, and me getting out of supreme laziness, the old interviews are all back up
and ready for your viewing pleasure. Also, I have a Sloan interview (with Jay Ferguson, actually) that
still needs to be typed up... maybe I'll get to that someday. Maybe.
March 14, 2005:
Erin Q.
What a colorful main page! Awww. :) Anywho, here's an article, freakers. The Top 10 Most Memorable Beetlejuice Episodes!
P.S. Ponda Baba is cute. :)
March 13, 2005:
Clayton
Hmm, what will this random hex code colour be...
I'd suggested Ponda Baba, but James didn't like the suggestion. I'm pretty sure that it's because he "secretly" likes whiney Luke... he wants to be his boyfriend.
If you have't yet, watch the Revenge of the Sith trailer.
March 11, 2005:
Matthew
About that list, I'm really suprised that Ponda Baba didnt make it, he specifically said (not in basic of course) that he doesnt like luke.
March 7, 2005:
James F.W.
There's a new article up: Top 10 Star Wars Characters
(but with a twist!). So yeah, have fun with that. It was about time a new article was done.
Also, I think I'm gonna re-do the link banner over there, with a full-pic-background. But, I need something that
is universally "PuddingStore," or just really rad. Any ideas?

Two days ago everything here in St John's started to thaw out. The sun was shining, the snow melted and people were even walking outside. Sadly, yesterday there was a freak snow storm and everything is buried under a meter (thats right, metric!) of snow again. The university wasn't closed until I had finished all my classes, which was a bummer for a friday afternoon. When I went to the bus stop at the university center, all hell had broken loose. Cars and busses were stuck in the snow and a thousand other people were milling around waiting for their bus. Number 3, thats my bus, was apparently stuck somewhere downtown so I did the only logical thing and went to the university bar to wait out the storm. When I finally got on the number 3 a few hours later the bus driver got into a friggin accident! He tried to stop and plowed into a parked truck. The bus drivers here are pretty crappy and they like to trick you into getting on the wrong bus by changing their signs when nobody is looking, so I didnt feel too bad for him. Winter in Newfoundland sucks, but buffalo flings are tasty treats.
