Alicia Penney - Right Out of ‘Er.

Somehow Alicia knows the perfect place for a vocal harmony, no matter how subtle (songs like How Can I Sing?). I think she writes purely with that in mind. Although, the songs themselves are really good lyric-wise too. There goes that theory. Dammit. Still, this cd is a great demonstration of how multiple vocal tracks can be your friend. Same with guitar tracks. 8 emotional, sweet (which, if you know Alicia, had to be a challenge to achieve. Oh - Snap!), really well put together songs. Including the much anticipated return of “the Pretty Song”!
