ThePuddingStore: The Movie
Yes gang, we all knew it would some day happen that I would get this stupid idea. I’ve actually been tossing around the idea for a little while now. In theory, it wouldn’t be too hard to do. All’s we need to do is get someone who knows what they’re doing to help us with it. And yes, I say “us” because I’d like it to be a big group project, cuz dammit, we just don’t do enough of those. Anywho, all we would have to do, once we find someone to help us, is come up with the idea… the rest just makes itself (or so I’ve learned from… I dunno… stuff).
From my general idea of what thePS is/means, I can see several possible directions that a live-action PuddingStore movie could go in. I share them with you now!
Sketch Comedy: It’s easy, it’s quick, it’s funny, and we’ve established that it’s possible (take Jay-Wall’s “Ukrania” for example). This one seems the most likely, but it also seems the most obvious/expected. Let’s go for something a little more clever than that folks!
Live Action Anime: Now THIS is what I’m talking about. Take our favorite PS admins/regulars, and put them in insane situations with giant fighting robots (or cardboard cut-outs), blue hair, and a lot of ass-kickin’. Sounds like a rockin’ good time, wha?
B-Movie: Yes, this one seems fairly obvious too, but in the long run, probably a bit more fun, as it’d be totally ridiculous, and rip-offy. I’ve had an idea for a B-Movie for years anyways (called “Attack of the Killer B-Movies from Space” – ask me about it later). This could be most fun. Werd.
Stupid Scenario: Picture “Dude, Where’s My Car?” but I’m Kelso, and Mat is Stiffler. I’m laughing already.
The Pete Movie: Pretty self-explanatory. However, just to make it fun, we’ll incorporate all the other ideas into this one too. Just to make it all the more difficult, plus it does a nice job of wrapping this little rant thingy off. w00t.
